
A guaranteed surprise effect when you arrive at these viewpoints! They are among our favorites, and are best explored by hiking.
A guaranteed wow effect when, as you walk, the view gradually unfolds behind the trees. It works every time. Nature has some wonderful surprises in store for us, and it's good to know how to appreciate them. Here, you can enjoy the view in respectful silence. You can see the birds of prey that love to fly over the Doubs, which winds between the cliffs.
Access : On the heights of Villers-le-Lac (on the road that connects Villers-le-Lac to Barboux), follow the signs to access the Vions car park. Before this large car park, there is a small road that leads you to a small car park, follow “belvédère des bassins”.

What a view! Below, the Doubs River, and across from it, Switzerland. The view is impressive, and easy to access, although it requires a bit of walking. All the reasons to enjoy an incredible view of the Doubs Valley, the Swiss mountains... and fir trees as far as the eye can see.
Access From Charquemont, head towards Combe Saint-Pierre, then continue towards the Bois de la Biche hotel-restaurant. A dedicated car park is available for access to the Cendrée viewpoint.





A charming hilly landscape awaits! The village of Soulce-Cernay below, the cliffs with the Roche Cave on your left, and Switzerland in the distance. It's beautiful!
Access : From Montandon, be careful of the stony path. Take a hike to discover this beautiful area (hike “Saussis”, no. 74).

Maximum open space, mountains on all sides: Vosges, Jura, Alps. If the weather is clear, a quick spin around the area will give you the chance to feast your eyes.
You have to walk a bit to appreciate this view. But it's worth it! The view is very nice and when your eyes have adjusted, you might be surprised to say to yourself, "Oh, we can see the Alps!"
Access : Arriving from Maîche before the village of Frambouhans, turn right at the bend towards “Le Faux Verger”. Park at the hunting car park a few hundred metres further on. There is a 20-minute walk left, with a slight incline.

You will undoubtedly be charmed by this plateau and the beautiful villages perched there. Access to this viewpoint already promises you a change of scenery wherever you come from. The village of Valoreille is very pleasant and the surprise is most beautiful when you gain height, you discover the view. The road allows you easy access, you park on site and then the sunset is yours!
Access : In the village of Valoreille, the Montaigu viewpoint is signposted.
On site : Benches, picnic table. Parking on site.





For a picnic with cooler, table, easy access for everyone.
It's hard not to use superlatives; it's magnificent here too! The view over the Dessoubre Valley is simply breathtaking. There are tables available for picnicking.
Access : From the village of Bréseux, follow the signs to access the viewpoint, you will find a few small spaces to park.

Essential and easy to access.
A must-see viewpoint in the area, the Roche du Prêtre lives up to its reputation. Below, the Val de Consolation and the Dessoubre Valley are visible between the plateaus.
