In its mission of coordinating local stakeholders, the tourist office has an educational role to play towards socio-professionals, but also residents, and this has taken on even more meaning since the creation of the Doubs Horloger Natural Park.

At the request of the tourist office, the association Durable and Doubs came to lead two half-day collaborative workshops on the theme of sustainable tourism.
Having the opportunity to work and live here year-round means having the opportunity to contribute to the deployment of positive eco-friendly actions in a region teeming with treasures to preserve. It is therefore important to be aware of the challenges of climate change in order to become agents of change by finding solutions on an individual and professional level.
For this, what better than to choose the Eco'lette, the Bizot eco-citizen café to bring together the tourist office team, some socio-professionals and members of the Doubs Horloger regional natural park.
During the first workshop, all participants carried out the Climate FrescoUsing a series of 42 cards, the causes and consequences of global warming were addressed.
Then, each participant had to calculate their carbon footprint and analyze their consumption, finding solutions to reduce their impact.
The second workshop was an opportunity to become an agent of change at the scale of our destination, by working on proposals for concrete actions so that the tourist office adopts even more responsible practices in its operations and offers low-carbon stays.
