Official start of the GTJ cross-country skiing, Val de Morteau It comprises two main Nordic ski areas: the Franco-Swiss Ridges (starting from Gardot) and the Combes. Thanks to its border location with Switzerland and the reciprocal agreement between the two countries, it's easy to cross the border on skis. It's also the ideal place to enjoy other winter activities: snowshoeing, sledding, or downhill skiing on the slopes of Meix-Musy, Chauffaud, or Bonade, suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike.
