The hiker's code of good conduct

  1. Hiking in the mid-mountains is not a harmless activity or a risk-free leisure activity. You are in a natural, inhabited mid-mountain environment; this space is primarily the working tool of farmers and foresters, and you will be crossing numerous pastures with livestock. Always be vigilant. It is your responsibility to take all precautions to ensure your safety and that of others.
  2. Nature welcomes you, respect it.
  3. Provide suitable equipment.
  4. Check the weather before you leave.
  5. Do not leave any litter.
  6. It is forbidden to make fires in the forest (a cigarette butt can be dangerous).
  7. Stay on the trail when you come across crops or hayfields.
  8. Don't scare the animals.
  9. Carefully close the barriers behind you.
  10. You must be in control of your pets and keep them on a leash when around livestock.
