Exploited until the end of the Second World War, peat was a sought-after fuel. Now managed for better preservation, the peat bogs are home to rare and endangered flora and fauna. Enjoy these extraordinary landscapes during a stopover, or by following hiking trails No. 35 and No. 49. The Noël-Cerneux peat bogs greatly inspired the painter Isenbart. Trail No. 37 is dedicated to him.
