Description

In the heart of the Cordiers district, come discover a traditional 18th-century farmhouse in the Haut-Doubs region. Its various dwellings and its vast wood-fired fireplace will immerse you in the life of yesteryear, in a remarkably well-preserved setting. Crossing the road, continue your visit by discovering the Girard farm-workshop and discover three complementary trades: the farrier, the wheelwright, and the blacksmith.

ClosedThe perfect Christmas atmosphere at the museum farmsRight

Go for a stroll in the Christmas atmosphere of the farm museum Pays Horloger at the time of its Christmas market with the traditional decorations, the smell (and taste) of mulled wine, the homemade cakes in the oven and discover many artisanal skills ... The dream atmosphere of a Christmas market like we don't find many anymore. On this exceptional occasion, taste the toast with cramaillot jam. A marvel for epicureans! The market is one of the first organized in the Val de Morteau : 1st weekend of December.

ClosedThe Grand'Combe Châteleu tuyésRight

This small village is home to the largest number of Franche-Comté farms, with their traditional tuyés, which can reach 15 meters in height. These tuyés have a rich history as they were (and sometimes still are) used to smoke typical cured meats. Not to mention the many fountains. The walk is easily accessible; the main thing was to stroll through the village streets.
