The Doubs Horloger Regional Natural Park is part of the official FFC Mountain Bike Sites network, a label from the French Cycling Federation guaranteeing an offer of marked, maintained mountain bike trails adapted to all levels of practice.

To make sure you don't miss any mountain biking routes in the area, you can find all the mountain biking circuits on the Val de Morteau, from Russey and Maîche. These maps are available for download or in printed form at our offices.

⚠️ The mountain bike trail “Tour of the Valley of Morteau”, No. 20 is diverted at the level of the Little Gardot. Beware of patou protection dogs, take the diversion set up on the Swiss side, by the Cerneux Pequignot.
⚠️The trail GTJ mountain bike route between Saint-Hippolyte and Montandon is closed due to logging. Detour via the cycle route.
Plan your own cycling route according to your wishes, without constraints and in complete simplicity! A system of marking and numbering intersections allows you to create your own route.

In Doubs, several areas are already equipped with this signage. ⚠️Deployment is underway on the Pays Horloger.
At each intersection, a numbered sign on a green background, this clear signage indicates your position and the direction of the surrounding Node Points.
Thanks to the detailed maps or the interactive map, you can organize your bike ride taking into account the distance, your physical condition, the sites to visit, etc.

With the ski lift equipped with the easyloop system, go back up the track on your mountain bike to then choose a downhill enduro depending on your level. The more daring can choose the springboard to land, after a stylish trick, on the airbag.
While hiking in Pays Horloger, you are hiking in the Doubs Horloger Regional Natural Park. If to date, The Doubs Horloger Natural Park does not impose any additional restrictions on the practice of bivouacking and wild camping., you must however comply with the current regulations. “Camping is freely practiced, outside the reach of roads and public highways, […] with the agreement of the person who has the use of the land, subject, where applicable, to the opposition of the owner.”
The essential rules concern the respect for nature, safety and waste management.

“The Stop”, break and rest in Montagnes du JuraFor optimal comfort, a fully equipped bivouac area (bivouac platform, refuge cabin and dry toilets) is located in Les Seignes, in the commune of Les Gras.

A 6-day, 5-night stay from 550 € per person, marketed by Doubs Tourism.
From April 1st to October 31st.
This stay is offered to you by the Tourist Office in partnership with the Doubs Departmental Tourism Committee registered in the register of travel and stay operators IM025100001. The Tourist Office is an intermediary who will confirm the availability of the chosen package as soon as possible. The contract will be established by the travel operator, which is the Doubs Departmental Tourism Committee. Things are falling into place in Pays HorlogerIn the Valley of Morteau : an electric mountain bike trail is now marked in the Gey woods starting from the campsite of Morteau, this is circuit no. 15, (with specific FFC signage for electric mountain bikes).
Accessible to beginners (there is just a small descent with stones).
