Goumois

Goumois, a Franco-Swiss commune in Pays Horloger

Goumois, "the Franco-Swiss Pearl," is the name given to this small village located on the border between France and Switzerland. It is separated by the Doubs River, which forms the border. This pretty little valley is a paradise for fishermen, who can indulge their passion on both sides of the river.

The river is also a place of rest where you can sit with your feet in the cool water and listen to the lapping!

Several hiking and mountain biking trails will allow you to discover the quiet little corners inaccessible by road, the pretty waterfalls, the kayak competition course, the Theusseret dam, the Hermitage cave and many other discoveries.
