The brand Montagnes du Jura brings together the departments of Ain, Doubs, Jura and the former regions of Franche Comté and Rhône-Alpes, to promote the Montagnes du Jura as a destination in its own right.

The ambitions of Montagnes du Jura are :

  • The creation of a “new” tourism destination brand in France.
  • Pooling resources to finance and carry out promotional actions and communication campaigns outside of borders.

The Regional Tourism Committee team is at your disposal for:

  • Provide you with advice on defining your project and direct you to resource organizations.
  • Guide and advise you towards the appropriate support system.
  • Support you in preparing and submitting your online aid application file.

It plays a facilitating role for the network of Tourist Offices by professionalizing and supporting them.

His missions :

  • La defense and representation of interests material and moral of its members;
  • Coordination andnetwork animation Tourist Offices in the region;
  • The development, coordination and implementation of a Training plan intended for employees of the region's Tourist Offices, ADT/CDT and CRT;
  • The handling of Decibels Data and its connected tools ;
  • The implementation of progress steps including the quality approach, the classification, the Information Reception and Dissemination Plan and the pilOT tool;
  • The development of theattractiveness of the territory ;
  • La sharing of means, services and resources for the benefit of the network.

MASCOT, which brings together the Tourist Offices of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, has produced a guide for elected tourism officials in local authorities: understanding the tourism market, how to exercise your role as an elected tourism official, etc.

Tourism DNA (National Federation of Institutional Tourism Organizations)

While taking into account the shared skills and activities specific to each territorial level and in compliance with the tourism code, ADN Tourisme aims to offer a range of services and expertise that closely meets the expectations of its members. It also aims to develop strong partnerships with the State and its operators, as well as with private actors, with a view to registering its action in a shared vision ofresponsible and quality tourism.

Its structuring missions:

  • REPRESENT tourism organizations according to territorial levels.
  • DEFEND the collective interests of its members and their representation as employers' unions, as defined by the labor code.
  • ANIMATE the network of tourism organizations in all its territorial and human dimensions.
  • TO ACCOMPANY developments, transformations and structuring projects in the tourism sector.
  • INNOVER to prepare for the future.

In order to facilitate the taking up of positions by newly elected officials in charge of tourism and, in particular, the presidency of institutional tourism organizations, the Federation has developed a guide for them. This document aims to provide them with keys to understanding et an argument on the tourism sector and the role of institutional tourism organizations. To develop this document, ADN Tourisme relied in particular on testimonies and initiatives collected from its members.
