What could be more invigorating than getting some fresh air when the thermometer has dropped below zero? While there isn't always snow, it's often cold, and getting some fresh air in sub-zero temperatures is an invigorating exercise! We fog up with every exhalation, our cheeks are red, our noses sting too... and our eyes! But what a spectacle nature offers us then, when the frost envelops and transforms the slightest dust of humidity, when the cobwebs are revealed with the sun, when our footsteps crunch on the frozen ground, when the dancing mist sets the scene for the landscapes... It's truly beautiful, what a privilege to enjoy it. And finally, what a joy to find the warmth of home again, fresh, ready, you're refreshed!

Enjoying the calm of sleeping nature, listening to the crunch of footsteps in the snow, leaving our footprints in the powder snow, it's a privilege!
Listen to the hushed atmosphere when everything is covered in snow; the sounds change. Recognize the landscapes once covered in snow, when all the curves are softened. Identify the numerous tracks left by animals and trace their paths. And perhaps you'll be lucky enough to see a Comtois horse in the snow—magical, magnificent...
Sledding, snowshoeing, and team driving are all extraordinary experiences! Impressive whatever the activity. The Nordic dogs will impress you with their strength and endurance, and you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.

Speed on skis, precision shooting, put yourself in the shoes of a biathlete. It must be said that the excitement quickly rises when you support your favorite biathletes behind a TV screen... well, just wait and see, skis on your feet, rifle in hand, what resources you will have to find to calm your breath and aim correctly!... A great moment in perspective to try with friends or family to increase the pressure of the game a little.
Here, we ski across borders; Nordic ski areas blend and join without paying any additional fees. A ski pass purchased on the French side gives you the opportunity to ski on the "other side," as they say here, provided you cross the border on skis. This is enough to add a bit of folklore to your ski trip.
Heading off on an adventure at sunset, headlamp on your hat... And if you can take advantage of a full moon, then you're in for a magical evening. This is an outing that's out of the ordinary... and requires you to know the places you're venturing into well; the landmarks aren't the same in the middle of the night... nor are the sounds and encounters, for that matter.

Come on, would you like another small slice?! A real treat, that's what cleaning cake is, especially after a ski trip. With a little hot chocolate, it's just perfect! It's hard to have just one slice, as long as there's enough... After this pleasant 4 hours, we play a card game or a board game. We take our time.
Fondue (with Comté cheese, of course!), hot Mont d'Or, raclette... convivial dishes to share during long winter evenings! We have to admit that it's really good news when we finally put hot Mont d'Or and other raclettes back on the menu. Simplicity that works every time and ensures pleasant, convivial evenings, during which the tarot game is never far away.
